Yankul – Construction work is progressing steadily on the Italat Yankul (Yankul Viewpoint) project with completion reaching nearly 60%, according to officials of Dhahirah Municipality.
Being implemented by Dhahirah Municipality, the viewpoint project along the road linking Yankul and Suhar, is designed to enhance tourism, recreational services and green spaces in the wilayat.
Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al Hashmi, Director of Yankul Municipality, said work is progressing at a rapid pace in line with the approved schedule. He noted that the project covers a total area of 120,704sqm, with around 65,000sqm allocated for development in the Murabba Al Nahda area on the Suhar–Yankul road.
Al Hashmi informed that the total cost of the project is estimated at RO1.68mn. The development will include a wide range of recreational and service facilities catering to different age groups.
