Muscat – Oman Customs authorities at Muscat International Airport have successfully prevented a major attempt to smuggle narcotics into the country. During a routine security screening, officers discovered 4.384 kg of marijuana. The illegal substances were found in the possession of a female passenger of Thai nationality.

The drugs were concealed with professional precision inside her luggage in an effort to evade detection. However, the vigilance and expertise of the customs team led to the identification and seizure of the contraband. Following the discovery, the passenger was detained, and the authorities have commenced legal proceedings regarding the incident.
