Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said a low-pressure system is expected to affect parts of the Sultanate from Monday, September 14, to Wednesday, September 16, according to the latest weather forecasts.

According to the National Multi-Hazard Early Warning Centre, the system is likely to result in the formation of scattered rain clouds over Dhofar Governorate, with the weather impact expected to remain limited.

The centre also indicated the possibility of light rain in parts of the governorate as the upper-air low-pressure system moves across the region.

The weather system is expected to continue affecting the Sultanate until Wednesday, September 16.

Authorities cautioned that rainfall could lead to runoff in some wadis and advised the public to follow official weather bulletins and exercise caution.
