Dakhliyah – Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) seized 1,609 school supplies featuring images and designs contrary to public morals.
The confiscation took place during routine field inspections carried out by judicial enforcement officers at various commercial establishments as part of the ongoing Back to School campaign.
All prohibited items were confiscated immediately, and legal procedures were initiated against the violators in compliance with the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulation.
The Consumer Protection Authority emphasised that these rigorous market monitoring campaigns are designed to combat unlawful practices and halt the distribution of inappropriate products, while encouraging the public to report any violations through official communication channels.
