Jaalan Bani Bu Ali – The fourth edition of the Ajwaa Al Ashkhara Forum concluded on Saturday after 25 days of cultural, heritage and recreational activities that helped spur business across the coastal destination in South Sharqiyah.

Held from July 22 to August 15 in Al Ashkhara, Jaalan Bani Bu Ali, the event featured cultural performances, sports, marine activities and community programmes, while drawing visitors to hotels, restaurants, cafés, markets and other tourism-related services.

Omani heritage remained a major focus. The programme included the Majlis Al Khair heritage village, traditional crafts and maritime traditions, alongside a camel show involving around 100 animals. A traditional equestrian event featured more than 100 horses and riders from several governorates.

A craft and technology exhibition brought together 14 artisan stalls and six sections showcasing 3D technology, while entrepreneurs, SMEs, artisanal families and craftsmen used the event to market their products and services.

The forum has grown into a major summer event for Al Ashkhara. Its previous edition attracted more than 430,000 visitors.
