Muscat – Oman Authority for Quality Assurance of Education has officially revoked the institutional accreditation of Mazoon College following an assessment conducted in September 2025.
The review evaluated several standards, including governance and management, student learning by coursework programmes, staff and staff support services, staff research and consultancy, and industry and community engagement.
The assessment concluded that the institution no longer meets the required criteria in multiple key areas, specifically governance and management, student learning by coursework programmes, and staff support services.
Following an appeal submitted in December 2025, the review outcome was upheld, confirming the revocation of accreditation. As a next step, the college is required to undergo a new institutional standards assessment activity after one year.
