Muscat – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates have conducted high-level diplomatic phone calls with Oman. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, received a telephone call from H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister. During their conversation, the ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed mutual areas of interest. They also addressed regional developments, emphasizing the importance of joint diplomatic efforts to maintain regional security and ensure the safety and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a parallel development, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing regional updates, highlighting joint coordination to reduce escalation and enhance regional stability. The Qatari Prime Minister stressed the necessity for all parties to commit to dialogue and diplomacy, following the understanding reached within the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and safeguarding regional achievements.

Furthermore, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) also engaged in diplomatic outreach, as Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of UAE, discussed fraternal relations and regional updates with Foreign Minister via telephone.
