Muscat – H H Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, pinned the flying wings at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Al Murtafa’ah to a number of graduating pilots from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), following their completion of an integrated training programme across various aviation specialisations.

Furthermore, His Highness presented the Sultan’s Flight Cup to Pilot Officer Mohammed bin Said Al Kharousi for achieving first place overall in the flight course. The ceremony was attended by H E Dr Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, and Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
