Geneva – Oman, represented by the Ministry of Education, has been honoured with a prestigious award at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva.

This recognition highlights the Sultanate’s significant contributions to digital transformation and sustainable development through the Noor educational platform. The WSIS award is a globally renowned accolade that celebrates digital projects with impactful developmental outcomes, aiming to foster an inclusive and sustainable digital society.

This achievement reaffirms the leading position of the Noor platform as a vital digital tool that has enhanced the educational ecosystem and supported the digital transformation goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040.
