Muscat – Oman Customs thwarted an attempt to smuggle 1.7 kg of crystal meth into the country. The illegal narcotics were discovered after officials intercepted a suspicious postal parcel during a routine inspection.

Upon closer examination, the substances were found to be expertly concealed within a metal canister intended to bypass standard security measures. Following the discovery, the authorities confiscated the contraband and initiated the necessary legal procedures against those involved in the smuggling operation.
