London – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, met with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, Yvette Cooper, in London on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding strategic partnership between the two nations, with an emphasis on expanding collaboration across political, economic, cultural, and scientific sectors. Both ministers discussed critical regional developments, highlighting the importance of preventative diplomacy and coordinated efforts to mitigate risks.

They also addressed the necessity of maintaining peace, protecting maritime security, and ensuring the smooth flow of global supply chains in accordance with international law.
