Rabat, Morocco – Oman and Morocco have signed a memorandum of understanding to advance cooperation in the legal and judicial sectors. The agreement, signed in Rabat by H E Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs,, and Abdellatif Ouahbi, Moroccan Minister of Justice, focuses on the professional development of lawyers, legal practitioners, and experts.

The memorandum provides a framework for implementing joint training programmes, organising specialised workshops, and facilitating the exchange of professional expertise to improve the quality of legal and judicial services in both nations. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of national workforces and further the mutual interests of both countries. During his visit, Al Saeedi also conducted formal meetings with senior Moroccan judicial officials, including the President Delegate of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power, Mohammed Abdennabaoui, and the President of the Public Prosecution, El Hassan Daki, to discuss expanding collaboration in legal and judicial fields.
