Muscat – H E Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a telephone call from Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France. During the conversation, the two ministers discussed the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the French Republic.

They explored various avenues to further enhance and expand these relations across multiple sectors to serve the shared interests of both friendly nations. Furthermore, the ministers reviewed several regional and international developments of mutual interest. Both parties expressed their hope that recent American-Iranian understandings would contribute to bolstering security and stability, while supporting the principles of dialogue, diplomacy, and confidence-building.
