Egypt – Egyptian actor Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra has passed away at the age of 92 following a prolonged struggle with a respiratory illness. The veteran performer, who enjoyed a distinguished career spanning nearly six decades, died after a recent decline in his health.

Born in Damietta in 1934, Abu Zahra graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1958 and joined the National Theatre the following year. He became a prominent figure in Arab cinema and theatre, appearing in almost 100 stage productions and numerous acclaimed films and television series. His notable works include performances in “Al Gezeira,” “Land of Fear,” and the popular series “Lan Aeesh fi Gelbab Aby.”

Beyond the stage and screen, Abu Zahra was widely celebrated by younger generations for his significant contributions to Disney productions.
