Sinaw – Royal Oman Police aviation division has successfully conducted a rescue operation to save a truck driver of Asian nationality. The incident occurred when the driver attempted to cross Wadi Al Batha in the Wilayat of Sinaw while the water was flowing. The vehicle was swept away by the strong current during the attempt. Emergency teams managed to reach the driver and transport him to a safe area. Officials have confirmed that the individual is in good health following the ordeal.

In light of this event, the Royal Oman Police has issued a formal statement to the public. The authorities emphasised the critical importance of adhering to safety guidelines and avoiding the risks associated with crossing flooded valleys. Furthermore, the police reminded citizens and residents that risking lives by entering wadis during rain can lead to legal accountability. Public cooperation is essential to ensure safety during unstable weather conditions across the Sultanate.
