Muscat – The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning (MOHUP) has officially launched a digital service to assist citizens whose homes have been structurally impacted by the recent heavy rainfall and exceptional weather conditions. This initiative is designed for residences that have suffered significant structural damage, rendering them unfit for habitation. By prioritising the safety and stability of the community, the Ministry has integrated this service into its electronic portal to ensure a rapid response and efficient processing of aid requests.

Applicants can now access the service through the Ministry’s website using simplified digital authentication methods, including PKI-enabled mobile numbers or Civil ID cards. To ensure a swift evaluation, the Ministry has requested that all applicants complete their requests by attaching all necessary supporting documents via the online platform. This digital transition aims to provide a seamless experience for those affected, allowing them to seek assistance without the need to visit government offices in person during these challenging times.
