Muscat – Rescue teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) have successfully saved five individuals following two separate incidents involving trapped vehicles. In the first operation, emergency responders in Dhahirah Governorate attended to a scene in the Wilayat of Dhank where a vehicle had become stuck in a flowing wadi. Three people were trapped inside the car as water levels rose, but they were safely extracted by the rescue unit and are reported to be in good health.

In a second operation, the Water Rescue Team in the Muscat Governorate responded to an emergency in the Wilayat of Baushar. Two individuals were found trapped inside their vehicle after it became stuck in a large accumulation of water. The specialist team successfully reached the occupants and brought them to safety. Both individuals are confirmed to be in good condition following the rescue.
