Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received the credentials of several ambassadors of countries appointed to the Sultanate of Oman at Al Barakah Palace on Tuesday.

His Majesty the Sultan accepted the credentials of envoys representing New Zealand, Belarus, Vietnam, Cuba, Norway, Australia, the Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, the Czech Republic, Singapore and Greece.

During the audiences with His Majesty the Sultan, the ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their countries’ leaders and their sincere wishes to His Majesty for continued success. They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. They emphasised their dedication to strengthening partnership and cooperation between their respective countries and the sultanate across various fields, contributing to the support of shared aspirations and mutual interests.

On his part, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassadors, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the leaders of their countries for their greetings and kind wishes. He assured them that they would receive all the support and assistance from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people, thereby facilitating their duties and the advancement of joint cooperation.

The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, the Head of Royal Protocols and the Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
