Muscat – The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) is scheduled to host a large-scale, exceptional Fleet Review on the evening of Friday, November 21,2025. This significant maritime event will feature a total of forty-five vessels, providing a powerful demonstration of the Sultanate’s naval capabilities and regional defence cooperation.
The review is set to include a substantial contingent of ships and units affiliated with the Royal Navy of Oman, elements from the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard, and the highly esteemed His Majesty’s Yachts. Crucially, the naval review will also be bolstered by the participation of various warships and maritime assets from the navies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, underlining the strong bonds and commitment to joint maritime security across the Arabian Gulf.
The public will be afforded the opportunity to witness the grand naval display from the Qurum Beach in Muscat, where a series of complementary activities will take place. The main spectacle of the Fleet Review is slated for the evening, specifically between the hours of 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
This demonstration of naval strength and interoperability comes as the Sultanate continues to affirm its dedication to safeguarding maritime navigation and security in the region, consistent with its strategic position overlooking vital global sea lanes. The review serves not only as a display of the RNO’s operational readiness but also as a powerful symbol of unity and combined capability among the GCC’s armed forces.
