Muscat – Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation will organise the second edition of the Dhofar Science Forum at University of Technology and Applied Sciences Salalah from September 21 to 25.

The forum will bring together students, academics, researchers and innovators to exchange knowledge and experiences in scientific research and innovation.

According to a ministry official, the programme includes specialised workshops on research ethics, creative thinking, strategic innovation management and dissertation writing, held in collaboration with academic institutions in Dhofar.

The five-day event will also feature awareness activities through visits to government, educational and private institutions, in addition to an exhibition showcasing research projects, innovative solutions and success stories.

The official said the forum aims to build research and innovation skills among students and graduates, promote the ministry’s programmes and initiatives, and encourage constructive partnerships between researchers, innovators and supporting entities.
