Muscat – The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, has begun the evaluation and acceptance procedures for joining the military service as officer candidates (university graduates and executives). Applicants will undergo a number of evaluation stages according to the recruitment procedures followed in the RNO, leading to the final stages of acceptance. The RNO is harnessing its capabilities to provide the administrative and technical requirements to facilitate the procedures for joining the military service and joining the fields of honour and national duty.

These tireless efforts by the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces to employ Omani citizens come in line with plans and programs designed to employ citizens and provide the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments within the Ministry of Defence with national manpower.
