Muscat – Oman is closely monitoring recent developments concerning the situation in the Red Sea region. The Foreign Ministry emphasizes the absolute necessity of avoiding escalation and preventing any threats that could worsen the situation and endanger freedom of navigation.

Currently, Oman is actively coordinating with brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni parties, and the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen. This joint coordination aims to resume the political track and roadmap to achieve security and stability in the region.
