Muscat – Three Omani students earned prestigious medals at the second International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO2025), held in Malaysia on August 6.

Mazen bin Rashid al Riyami, from Azzan bin Qais International School in Muscat, won a silver medal, while Yazid bin Yusuf al Nabhani (from Mazin Bin Ghadoubah Private School in Dakhiliyah) and Tasnim bint Jabir al Hajriyah from Qafifa Basic Education School North Sharqiyah) secured bronze medals.

The achievement underscores Oman’s growing presence in global scientific competitions and highlights the nation’s investment in nurturing young talent in nuclear science and STEM education.
