Muscat – Rwandan President Paul Kagame will pay an official two-day visit to Oman beginning Monday, the Royal Court stated on Saturday.

Kagame will visit the sultanate on September 7 and 8 as part of efforts to strengthen relations and expand cooperation between Oman and Rwanda.

During the visit, discussions will focus on issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields.

The Royal Court said the visit reflects the two countries’ keenness to develop ties in a manner that serves their common interests and the aspirations of their peoples.

Kagame’s visit is expected to provide an opportunity to review bilateral relations and explore avenues for further cooperation between Muscat and Kigali.
