Salalah – Dhofar Municipality, in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, has announced the implementation of new traffic diversions in Salalah starting from Monday, July 14, 2025, as part of efforts to manage traffic flow during the busy khareef season.

As part of the plan:

• The Eastern Service Road in Itin will be converted into a one-way route, allowing traffic only from south to north.
• A new access lane will be opened directly from the Dahariz Roundabout, bypassing Sultan Qaboos Street, to provide direct access to Dahariz Beach.
• For motorists coming from Al Maamoura Palace Roundabout, specific changes and instructions will also be in place to ensure smoother traffic movement.

Authorities urge drivers to follow all traffic signs and directions posted on-site and to cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure public safety and a smooth transportation experience during the tourism season.
