Muscat – Sayyid Sulaiman bin Hamoud bin Ali al Busaidi has been elected Chairman of the Oman Football Association (OFA) Board of Directors for the 2025–2029 term after securing 30 out of 43 votes in the General Assembly held on Wednesday.
The session, attended by representatives from all 43 member clubs, confirmed quorum and proceeded with electronic voting under the supervision of officials from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA.
Qutaiba bin Saeed al Ghailani was elected Vice Chairman, receiving 22 votes.
The newly elected board will serve a four-year term, during which it is expected to lead key initiatives to strengthen Omani football both locally and internationally.
