Muscat – Riders Saleh bin Salem al Balushi and Hussein bin Ali al Farsi from Royal Cavalry have secured places in the 2026 World Endurance Cup to be held in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia.
Balushi, riding Astik, and Farsi, on Finshdor, qualified after successfully completing the 160km Compiegne race in France organised by International Equestrian Federation. The race, held over six stages – 32km, 30km, 28km, 21km, 28km and a final stretch of 21km – witnessed fierce competition with participants from around the world.
Two Royal Cavalry riders have already qualified for the world event – Mahmoud bin Marhoon al Fori on Electra and Hisham bin Saleh al Farsi on Plexima.
With the latest results, Oman will now be represented by four Royal Cavalry riders at the World Endurance Cup in 2026.
