Muscat – The Foreign Ministry has announced the successful repatriation of 51 Omani citizens as part of the sixth phase of the national evacuation plan, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding citizens abroad and ensuring their safe return to the sultanate.
In a statement issued on Saturday nihgt, the ministry confirmed that 28 citizens were repatriated via sea from Iran, arriving at Khasab Port from Bandar Abbas Port. The operation also included the evacuation of foreign nationals from other countries as part of a broader coordinated effort.
Meanwhile, a separate repatriation flight arrived at Muscat International Airport carrying 23 Omani citizens from the Republic of Türkiye.
The ministry noted that the evacuation was carried out in coordination with the embassy of Oman in Tehran, alongside relevant local and international authorities.
It further affirmed that it continues to work closely with competent bodies and mobilise all available resources to ensure the safety and well-being of Omani nationals abroad.
