Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik administered the oath of office to two newly appointed ambassadors of the Sultanate of Oman during a ceremony at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday.
Sayyid Najib bin Hilal bin Saud al Busaidi was sworn in as Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He will also serve as the sultanate’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Digital Cooperation Organization, both based in Riyadh.
Thamer bin Fayez bin Khalfan al Alawi was appointed Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
The ceremony was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.
