South Batinah Police Command has arrested an individual of Asian nationality for possessing over 62 kilograms of crystal meth. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) confirmed that legal procedures against the suspect are currently underway.

Authorities continue to intensify efforts to combat drug trafficking and ensure the safety of communities across the Sultanate. Earlier in the week, the Police Command in South Sharqiyah arrested 7 individuals of Asian nationality for possessing more than 56 kilograms of marijuana and a quantity of crystal meth. Legal procedures are being completed against the arrested.
