Muscat – The third edition of Gulf Tkatuf Exhibition concluded on Saturday having drawn participation of 200 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from across Oman and GCC countries.

Held in partnership with Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, the three-day event focused on empowering entrepreneurs, encouraging business partnerships and expanding market opportunities.

Organised under the patronage of H E Dr Said bin Mohammed bin Ahmed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, the exhibition aimed to open new business horizons and strengthen strategic partnerships in alignment with Oman Vision 2040, which highlights SMEs as a vital pillar of the national economy.

Speaking to Muscat Daily, H H Sayyida Hujaija Jaifer Saif al Said, organiser of the event and founder of Links for Community Initiatives, said, “The exhibition was launched to support SMEs, promote their products and services, and create new business opportunities through collaboration with various stakeholders.”

An Omani event management company, Links for Community Initiatives organised the exhibition as part of its efforts to encourage entrepreneurship and promote Gulf cooperation. This year’s event featured a large number of SMEs from the sultanate with approved trademarks, alongside ventures from other Gulf countries, reflecting the growing interest of regional entrepreneurs in collaborating with Omani businesses.

A notable addition to this edition was a partnership with Oman Tourism College, offering students hands-on experience in event management and coordination. H H Sayyida Hujaija expressed hope that the students gained valuable insights from working alongside the exhibition staff.
