Brasília, Brazil – His Excellency Talal bin Sulaiman al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil, has been honoured with the Order of the Southern Cross of the High Class by the Government of Brazil, marking the end of his tenure as Ambassador. The award recognises his exceptional contributions to strengthening and enhancing bilateral relations between Oman and Brazil.
The prestigious medal was presented by His Excellency Carlos Sergio Superbal Duarte, Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Africa and the Middle East, at an official ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brasília. In his remarks, Duarte commended Ambassador Al Rahbi for his tireless efforts in advancing diplomatic and economic cooperation between the two nations, which have significantly contributed to consolidating their bilateral ties.
The Order of the Southern Cross is one of Brazil’s highest awards, bestowed upon foreign diplomats and individuals who have made substantial contributions to the country’s international relations.
