To commemorate the occasion, Muscat Daily asked Omanis from diverse fields what National Day means to them and their aspirations for the future.

National Day is a time to reflect on our country’s achievements and renew our collective commitment to progress. Personally, I am committed to supporting the growth of Oman’s space sector. My vision is to position Oman as a key player in regional space activities. With our strategic location and infrastructure, we can become a hub for strategic space value chain, serving as a logistics centre for spaceports, satellite connectivity and space technology manufacturing. By fostering innovation through adaptable regulatory frameworks, I hope to see more investments in the private sector supporting Oman Vision 2040.
