Muscat – Business Today has launched the inaugural CXO Awards, positioning the event as one of the most prestigious corporate honours in the GCC region. The Business Today CXO Awards will recognise top-performing executives from across the Gulf, including Oman, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

The gala awards ceremony is scheduled for November 26, 2024 at the Sheraton Oman Hotel in Muscat.

More than 25 awards will be presented during the event, celebrating excellence in leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Chief Audit Officer (CAO), Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Chief Legal Officer (CLO), and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Additionally, a special recognition will be given to the Overall CXO in Oman, alongside top CXOs from the other five participating GCC countries.

The awards are open to C-level senior executives responsible for overseeing key functions within their organisations across various sectors. Recipients will be evaluated on both qualitative and quantitative factors, including leadership excellence, demonstrated by their ability to lead teams and drive organisational success. They will also be judged on their contributions to setting and achieving strategic objectives, initiatives that have significantly impacted their businesses or industries, exceptional financial performance, and significant achievements in industry growth, thought leadership and community development.
