The primary goal of this contest is to raise public awareness about the benefits of drones, while empowering Omani youth to offer technological solutions.

It seeks to make the production of drones commercially viable and generate jobs in fields such as drone piloting, programming, assembly, maintenance, image analysis, machine vision and AI programming.

The initiative targets college and university students, who are eager to acquire new technical skills, particularly in drone technology, to actively contribute to the implementation of technical solutions and thereby strengthening the national economy.

Additionally, the programme aims to prepare and support the winning participants for regional and international competitions.
