Muscat – Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), in collaboration with Huawei, has launched a programme to train 100 young Omanis in artificial intelligence (AI), including sessions in China.
The programme aims to enhance competencies within the communications sector, support jobseekers and small and medium enterprise owners, and invest in modern technologies and human resources.
The programme launch event was hosted by Omar Hamdan al Ismaili, CEO of TRA.
Training will be conducted in five stages, each involving 20 trainees. Each stage will last three weeks, with two weeks of training at the authority’s headquarters in Oman and one week at Huawei’s headquarters in China.
