Tehran, Iran – Based on the Royal Orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, an official delegation from Oman conveyed condolences and sympathies of His Majesty the Sultan to Mohammad Mokhber, acting president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the death of President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday. 

The delegation included Dr Abdullah bin Nasser al Harrasi, Minister of Information; Dr Mohammed bin Said bin Khalfan al Mamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs; Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs; and Ibrahim bin Ahmed al Muaini, Ambassador of Oman to Iran. The delegation conveyed His Majesty the Sultan’s sincere condolences and deep sympathies to the Iranian leadership and the people of Iran, praying for God’s mercy on the deceased and patience and solace for their families.

Mokhber conveyed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for his wishes, praying for the protection and well-being of His Majesty and the Omani people.
