Muscat – Oman Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy rains in several parts of Oman today.

Rainfall ranging from 20 to 40mm is expected to affect governorates such as Buraimi, Dhahirah, Dakhliyah, South Batinah, North Sharqiyah, and North Batinah. Strong winds of 20-35 knots may cause poor visibility and potential flooding in some valleys and reefs.

The weather warning is in effect from 12.30pm to 11.00pm. People in affected areas are advised to exercise caution and stay updated on local weather advisories.
