Muscat – Honourable Lady Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamed al Busaidi, Spouse of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Mother’s Day, observed on March 21. The message reads as follows:

“It pleases us to congratulate the dear mothers in our beloved country and the mothers in the entire world on the occasion of Mother’s Day, which falls on March 21 every year, wishing them goodness and success, pride and exaltation, safe and reassured life, and contributing effectively to all development programmes and areas of life.

Celebrating this day is nothing but enhancing the meanings of gratitude and reverence, intensifying feelings of love and pride, and further highlighting the roles of the great mothers and their high status that Allah the Almighty and our Prophet have recommended to us.

On this occasion, as we live these blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of goodness, mercy and benevolence, we pray to Allah Almighty to protect mothers in all parts of the earth, especially our people in the occupied Palestine, and to bless them with peace, security and liberation.
