Muscat – TECS defeated Vanderlande by 143 runs in the A Division League 2023-24 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2 on Friday.

TECS posted 227 with P Ravindu’s scoring a solid 62 and Jaleel K hitting a stroke- filled 45. Aiyappan B picked four wickets for Vanderlande. In response, Vanderlande were never in the game as Abdul Malik and Devansh Loya picked two wickets each in the powerplay. Jaleel’s fifer sealed the deal for TECS who registered their third win in the league.

Winners Jotun beat Landmark Group in the D Division League 2023-24 powered by Credit Oman LLC at the Amerat Municipality Grounds on Friday.

Landmark Group posted 177 with half centuries from Nithin Kumar and Kugan KR. Anoop V picked up two wickets for Winners Jotun. In response, Vineesh Raj’s magnificent century took Winners Jotun home with eight balls and four wickets remaining. Vineeth Nair took four wickets for Landmark Group.

In another D Division League match, Earn Trust defeated OCT Seeb.

Mustansar Hussain’s 91 and Khurram Chaudhary’s 64 helped Earn Trust post a mammoth total of 206. Issa Al Balushi picked two wickets for OCT Seeb. In response, OCT Seeb failed to put up any real fight as Zaheer Abbas picked up four wickets and Maanas Kapoor scalped two. OCT Seeb were all out for 114 with Ahmed Al Balushi top-scoring with 28.

Earn Trust CT 206/6 in 20 overs (Mustansar Hussain 91(52); Issa Al Balushi 2/19) beat OCT Seeb 114/8 in 20 overs (Ahmed Al Balushi 28(20); Zaheer Abbas 4/18) by 92 runs.
