Muscat, Oman: Glam Homes and OCT Ruwi were involved in a thrilling tie in their A division League match at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2 on Saturday.

Batting first, OCT Ruwi made 236 with Majid Al Balushi hitting a half century and Mohammed Al Balushi scoring a quickfire 40.

Masud Parvez, Rana Zeeshan and Usman Ali picked two wickets each. In response, Glam Homes CT’s Dileepa Srilal waged a lone battle with a stunning century. Although Glam Homes lost his wicket in the last over, they still managed to tie the match. Shoaib Al Balushi and Zubair Al Balushi picked three wickets each.

In another match on Friday, Bank Muscat defeated TECS in the A Division League 2023-24 powered by Khimji Ramdas LLC at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 2.

Saud Haroon Khan scored 49 for TECS but with the rest of their batsmen failing to tick, they only managed to make a mere 158. Bank Muscat’s Ajay Hirlekar picked four wickets while Ali Hussnain scalped three to restrict TECS from posting a par-total.

In response, Bank Muscat’s Usman Ali Shah stole the show scoring a brilliant run-a-ball century ensuring their victory in the 33^rd over. Abdul Malik picked two wickets for TECS.
