Muscat – Sultan bin Salem al Habsi, Minister of Finance, will preside over the opening of an expansion project in Nizwa Hospital on Wednesday.
The project, overseen by Royal Court Affairs, aims to align with the government’s welfare efforts, particularly those of the Ministry of Health, to ensure the delivery of services that meet the needs of citizens.
This expansion project aims to improve patient services and meet the growing demand for certain specialised services in the hospital.
It is intended to contribute to reducing waiting time and ensuring high quality and exceptional standards for patient safety.
The focus on establishing services and developmental projects, including those dedicated to improving healthcare services and inclusivity, aligns with the directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. It reflects the government’s commitment to prioritising Omani citizens as the focal point of development, aiming to achieve ambitious goals and developmental objectives outlined in the national strategy of the sultanate, as embodied in Oman Vision 2040.
