Muscat – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abulaziz al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The message was handed over to Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when he received in his office Abdullah Saud al Enezi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the sultanate, on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and means of enhancing these in various fields.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General and the two Advisors at the office of Sayyid Asaad.

Farewell to Libyan envoy

On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham, Sayyid Asaad received in his office on Wednesday Sania Abu al Qasim Ghoma, Ambassador of Libya to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid her farewell at the end of her tour of duty.

During the meeting, the ambassador expressed her gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to her during her tour of duty from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people. She also wished His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life and the sultanate further development and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty the Sultan.

On his turn, Sayyid Asaad expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the ambassador in serving bilateral relations and wished her success. He also wished the people of Libya further progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General and the two Advisors at Sayyid Asaad’s office.
