Muscat – Muscat Municipality has warned shops and restaurants against trading of expired, prohibited, or adulterated food or food unfit for human consumption.
A statement issued by Muscat Municipality said, ‘The municipality warned stores and restaurants against selling expired food.’
It added that penalties include a fine of RO1,000, disposal of the food stuff and closure of the shop for three days.
