Muscat – Muscat Municipality has announced that 80 per cent of landscaping work in Bausher public park has been completed.

The Directorate General of Projects and Landscaping at the municipality is implementing a number of afforestation projects, where it has completed 80 per cent of the landscaping work in Bausher public park. In addition, the afforestation of the Mashawi Village project in Al Amerat is also complete.

The municipality informed that it has recently completed the implementation of the fourth walkway project in Amerat. ‘The construction work has been assigned to the executing company, which is almost 80 per cent complete. As soon as the civil works are completed, afforestation work will be begin.’

A statement issued by Muscat Municipality said, ‘The project to landscape footpaths and sidewalks adjacent to public roads and squares have a special appeal to the municipality. This type of landscaping is done to add a vibrant visual element that has environmental, psychological and aesthetic benefits consistent with modern concepts of city planning.’
