Muscat – On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received in his office on Sunday Leslie M Tsou, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid her farewell at the end of her tour of duty.

The ambassador expressed gratitude for His Majesty the Sultan’s support during her tour of duty. She also conveyed her appreciation of the Omani government and people.

She wished His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life, and the sultanate further development and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.

On his turn, Sayyid Asaad expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the ambassador in serving bilateral relations. He also wished her success and the American people further progress and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General and the two advisors at the Office of Sayyid Asaad.
