Muscat – Sixteen newly appointed ambassadors of Oman took oath before His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at Al Barakah Palace on Monday morning. Those who took oath are:

Badr Mohammed Badr al Manthri, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

H H Sayyid Nizar al Julanda Majid al Said, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic.

Maithaa Saif Majid al Mahrouqi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Talal Sulaiman Habib al Rahbi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil.

Hilal Abdullah Ali al Sinani, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia.

Dr Ahmed Mohammed Said al Sa’eedi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Lebanese Republic.

Abdulghafar Abdulkarim Issa al Balushi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Saif Nasser Rashid al Bada’ei, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

Ahmed Ali Said al Rashdi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Mahmoud Hamad Nasser al Hassani, appointed-ambassador of Oman to the Swiss Confederation. uMohammed Abdullah Awadh al Nahdi, appointed-ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Cyprus.

Hamoud Salim Abdullah al Tuwayah, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.

Irma Said Mohammed al Kathiri, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam.

Ru’aa Issa Ashraf al Zedjali, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium.

Sayyid Faisal Hareb Hamad al Busaidi, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Omar Said Omar al Kathiri, appointed-ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Spain.

The oath taking ceremony was attended by Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Dr Abdullah Mohammed al Sa’eedi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs.
