Muscat – Water connection fees will be reviewed, accordion to Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC).

In a statement, OWWSC said, ‘The company will review the regulation of water connection fees to ensure customer satisfaction. The new regulation will be issued during the last quarter of 2022.’

‘The company had earlier studied the requests to speed up the implementation of water networks, and the average cost of implementation and distribution was calculated, without adding other costs, “ it stated.

However, the company said that it had excluded some categories from those fees, such as the social security category, and settled the fees on all other categories over a period of seventy months, with a payout of ten riyals per month.
