Muscat – The Ministry of Labour (MoL) in coordination with the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO) on Monday announced new job opportunites and will receive applications from job seekers as part of the overall recruitment plan of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
A statement issued by MoL, said, ‘The Ministry of Labor, in coordination with the Royal Guard of Oman, is pleased to announce the opening of recruitment for citizens (males) holding a general education diploma or equivalent as new recruits for the year 2022.’
‘The Royal Guard of Oman will start receiving applications from job seekers who meet the terms of recruitment and want to join the Sultan’s Armed Forces starting February 8 till February 12.’
TheRGO also confirmed that there are certain conditions for obtaining a job such as the applicant must be an Omani national (males only) and he must have a general education diploma (12th grade).
‘The age of the applicant should be between 18-23 and the measurement of the vision examination shall be 6/6 without vision correction operations or the use of eyeglasses or contact lenses. The height test should be between 185-170cm and the weight measurement should be between 65-78kg. The applicant must also pass the physical fitness test (running) for a distance of 3,200m according to the scheduled time,’ it stated.

The Sultan’s Armed Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, continues to receive job seekers’ applications from eligible candidates, in accordance with the noble directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to accelerate operational initiatives.
