Muscat – Muscat Municipality announced that Muscat Expressway will be closed temporarily for maintenance work from this evening (Thursday) till February 6, 2022.

In a statement, the civic body said, ‘In cooperation with the directorate general of traffic of the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the Muscat Municipality will partially close the Muscat Expressway (Al Qurum – after the Al Ilam bridge for those coming from Al Qurum towards Seeb), starting from this evening until Sunday, February 6, 2022 for the purpose of maintaining the damaged part of the street.’

The municipality also said it will partially close another road in Ruwi (from Darsait to Ruwi) from Thursday to Monday February 14 for maintenance. ‘Please be cautious and follow instructions shown on the site,’ it stated.
